Russians try to push back Ukrainian units in Huliaipole sector – Voloshyn

The situation in the Huliaipole sector remains difficult due to the enemy's attempts to push back Ukrainian units toward Zelenyi Hai, Vesele, Rivnopillia, and Yablukove.

Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, stated this in a comment to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"The situation in the Huliaipole sector is quite difficult, as the enemy is actively trying to push our units back towards Zelenyi Hai, Vesele, Rivnopillia, and Yablukove. In addition, fierce fighting continues near the village of Solodke," the spokesman claimed.

Voloshyn also added that the enemies are currently trying to establish strongholds in the villages of Uspenivka, Rivnopillia, Yablukove, and Solodke, but Ukrainian forces are thwarting their efforts..

“They [the enemies] are not succeeding. Our assault units are engaged in fierce fighting near these settlements,” he assured.

As reported by Ukrinform, 265 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front line over the past day, November 9.
