Russian forces have stepped up attempts to bypass Ukrainian positions through reed thickets in the area of Malokaterynivka and in other adjacent sectors, including near the Zaporizhzhia NPP and Kamianka-Dniprovska.

The spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, reported this on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.

"Several enemy groups tried to bypass our positions through these reed thickets and approach our flank from the west," the spokesperson said.

According to Voloshyn, Russian occupiers are also trying to secretly infiltrate along the bottom of the former Kakhovka Reservoir under the cover of vegetation to reach Ukrainian positions as quickly as possible and attack from the rear.
