Shmyhal, Saab leadership discuss delivery of Gripen jets to Ukraine
According to Ukrinform, Shmyhal announced this on Facebook.
"We continue working on the delivery of Swedish Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine," Shmyhal said.
He recalled that in October, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson signed agreements paving the way for the transfer of the aircraft to Ukraine.

"Today, during my visit to Sweden, we visited the headquarters of Saab – the manufacturer of Gripen jets. We discussed with the company's management possible areas of technical cooperation and further steps in the aircraft's delivery to Ukraine," Shmyhal said.
Shmyhal stressed that modern Gripen jets would significantly strengthen the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force and contribute to implementing the roadmap for the development of aviation in line with NATO standards.

"We continue working to accelerate the process of their transfer and integration into the Ukrainian Air Force so that next year Gripen jets will already be defending the Ukrainian sky," he said.
President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier said that Ukraine expected to receive 150 Gripen fighter jets from Sweden, with the first aircraft expected to arrive next year.
