Russians attempting to push Ukrainian forces back near Vyshneve, Rybne, Verbove – Voloshyn

Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

"The enemy is attempting to push our forces back in several sectors and remains fairly active in the areas of Vyshneve, Rybne, and Verbove on the Oleksandrohrad axis," he said.

According to Voloshyn, in these sectors of the front line, Ukrainian forces are carrying out strike-and-search and assault operations aimed at destroying enemy assault groups. Close-range firefights take place there daily, marked by high intensity and fierce combat.

"Near Stepove, on the Oleksandrohrad axis, the enemy used motorcycles during assault operations. Additionally, near Sosnivka, the enemy also used motorcycles over the past day," he said.

Voloshyn noted that the enemy has been employing this type of equipment more frequently during assaults, as the battlefield has become more visible after the leaves have fallen. Russian units are using fast, mobile vehicles to cover the distance to Ukrainian positions as quickly as possible.

"We are recording a slight increase in the use of such motorcycles. Not significantly, but somewhat higher than before," the spokesperson said.
