Russia attacks Odesa region in two rounds: Port and energy infrastructure facilities hit
According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the Odesa region suffered two rounds of massive drone strikes during the night. Despite the active work of the Air Defense Forces and the destruction of most enemy targets, civilian port and energy infrastructure facilities were hit.
The strikes caused fires. Road surfaces, industrial buildings, and equipment were damaged. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires.
There were no casualties or injuries. There were no power outages, Kiper noted.
The DTEK Group added that the Russians struck a DTEK energy facility in the Odesa region during the night.
Energy workers will begin restoration work as soon as they receive permission from the military and rescue services.
The damage is extensive. Repairs will take time, DTEK emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, on November 2, Russian strike drones attacked a parking lot with trucks in the Odesa region, killing two people.
