This year, Ukraine is opening two representative offices for the sale of weapons, both surplus arms and those produced under co-production agreements.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a briefing, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We are opening two export capitals. You know, this is a co-production and the export, that we have disscused, of weapons that we can afford to sell, to generate additional funds for our domestic production of critical equipment we currently lack funding for. The first two capitals, (this has been agreed at the company level within co-production partnerships as well as at the state level) the locations for our representative offices, will be Berlin and Copenhagen. These will open this year," Zelensky said.

He added that issues related to contracts with EU countries will be handled by the president's adviser, Oleksandr Kamyshin.

"Everything will be legally formalized and contracts will start to be developed. Oleksandr Kamyshin is responsible for Europe, he will be representing Ukraine's exports on the European continent," he stated.

In addition, Zelensky noted that Ukraine is currently working with countries in the Middle East and the United States.

"The U.S. team that works on the drone deal will visit Ukraine next week," Zelensky said.

As Ukrinform reported, at the beginning of October, a Ukrainian delegation in the U.S. discussed with Pentagon and Congress officials, as well as the military, the possibility of selling some Ukrainian drones, jointly upgrading them, and developing new platforms.
