Russian nighttime missile attack on Kyiv leaves two dead, 13 injured

The number of people injured in the nighttime missile attack on Kyiv has risen to 13, with two confirmed fatalities.

Kyiv Police reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

As noted, the body of a 36-year-old man was recovered from under the rubble in the Desnianskyi district of the capital.

The second victim was a 58-year-old man from the same district. He was taken to a medical facility with severe injuries but could not be saved.

By 12:00 on Saturday, Kyiv Police had already received 80 reports from residents about the damage caused by the enemy attack.

It has been confirmed that the attack caused damage to multi-story residential buildings, a kindergarten, an educational facility, shop premises, and vehicles.

Police and rescue workers continue operations at the affected sites.

As previously reported, overnight on October 25, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. Fires broke out in several locations. Earlier reports indicated two deaths and 12 injured.
