Top Ukrainian, NATO commanders discuss new aid packages for Ukraine's Armed Forces
Syrskyi announced the details of the talks on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Syrskyi briefed Grynkewich on the current operational situation in areas of active combat.
"The enemy continues its terror against civilians, targeting critical infrastructure, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and residential buildings. Energy facilities remain the main targets of Russian strikes, aimed at leaving Ukrainians without electricity, water, and heat," Syrskyi wrote.
According to him, the two also discussed plans for developing new assistance packages to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Syrskyi expressed his gratitude to Grynkewich, U.S. War Secretary Pete Hegseth, President Donald Trump, and the American people for their steadfast support and assistance to Ukraine, particularly for the practical implementation of the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) initiative.
"The general noted that more than 17 NATO member states have joined the PURL initiative to collectively fund the procurement of U.S. weaponry for Ukraine," Syrskyi said.
