War update: 120 combat engagements on frontline over past day, fiercest fighting in Pokrovsk sector

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Russian forces carried out 90 airstrikes, dropping 184 guided aerial bombs, and launched 4,987 artillery strikes, including 152 from multiple launch rocket systems, while deploying 6,688 kamikaze drones.

The enemy airstrikes targeted settlements in Zaporizhzhia region such as Danylivka, Novouspenivske, Solodke, Huliaipole, Richne, and Hryhorivka.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched three airstrikes with eight guided bombs and 210 artillery strikes including six from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russian made 11 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Vovchansk, Kamianka, and Bolohivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, four Russian attacks were repelled near Kupiansk, Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian forces carried out nine attacks near Nadiia, Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Shandryholove.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks near Yampil, Serebrianka, Siversk, Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions were recorded.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 12 attacks occurred near Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, Katerynivka, Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces halted 39 enemy assaults near Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Dachne.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the Russians conducted 14 attacks near Filiia, Sosnivka, Novoiehorivka, Orestopil, Pavlivka, Kalynivske, and toward Pryvillia.

In the Huliaipole sector, no offensive actions were recorded.

In the Orikhiv sector, three Russian attacks were repelled near Stepove, Stepnohirsk, and Plavni.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukraine’ Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive formations were detected.

Ukrainian aviation, missile, and artillery units struck three clusters of enemy personnel and equipment, an artillery system, a command observation post, and a control point.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses in manpower from February 24, 2022, to October 24, 2025, have reached approximately 1,135,080 personnel, with 910 eliminated over the past 24 hours.
