The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, 93rd Mechanized Brigade, and 72nd Mechanized Brigade are the most popular among candidates signing contracts under the Contract 18-24 program.

This was announced on television by Alla Punko, a junior lieutenant and officer of the remote recruitment, social media, and media relations department of the Land Forces 1st Recruitment Center, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The top positions remain with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, 93rd Mechanized Brigade, and 72nd Mechanized Brigade. These brigades have been in the contract almost from the very beginning,” Punko said.

According to her, the most popular positions among candidates are intelligence officer, grenadier, and UAV operator.

“Nowadays, drone warfare is not a conversation about the future, but our present, so the front line needs positions such as unmanned aerial vehicle operators. The Contract 18-24: Drones program is very important and relevant,” Punko explained.

She said that this position was popular at the center even before the contract was officially announced and that people of different age groups work in it. The contract is also a nice bonus and additional motivation for those who already wanted to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this specialty.

“We are seeing positive dynamics, and this position, like the announcement of the contract itself, really meets the needs of the front,” Punko concluded.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Separate Detachment of Special-Purpose Unmanned Systems of the National Guard of Ukraine, Typhoon, has joined the Contract 18-24 program.
