Russian army launches combined strike on Sumy community: Water supply cut off, power outages
This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, according to Ukrinform.
“The enemy carried out a combined strike on the Sumy community. There are hits outside the residential sector. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” the post says.
It is noted that the extent of the damage is being clarified, and all necessary services are working.
It is also reported that power outages have been recorded in Sumy and the Sumy district after Russian shelling.
“Power outages in part of the city of Sumy and the Sumy district are related to the military aggression of the Russian Federation,” Sumyoblenergo JSC reported on Telegram.
The municipal utility company Miskvodokanal reported that due to the enemy attack and problems with the electricity supply, the water supply has also been cut off.
It is noted that energy companies are working to resolve the issue. As soon as the situation stabilizes, the water supply will be restored.
The Air Force reported on Telegram about the launch of guided aerial bombs on Sumy.
As reported by Ukrinform, a Russian drone attacked a civilian car in the Putyvl community of the Sumy region, injuring three civilians.
