Russian army loses 1,240 soldiers in war against Ukraine in one day

The total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to October 12, 2025, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,122,810 people, including 1,240 people over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The Russian army also lost tanks – 11,248 (+1), armored combat vehicles – 23,345 (+0), artillery systems – 33,578 (+10), MLRS – 1,518 (+0), air defense systems – 1,225 (+0), aircraft – 427 (+0), helicopters – 346 (+0), tactical-level UAVs – 69,010 (+244), cruise missiles – 3,859 (+0), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 63,934 (+87), special equipment – 3,976 (+3).

As reported by Ukrinform, border guards destroyed Russian ammunition depots and communication antennas in the South Slobozhanskyi direction.
