Russians strike the Zaporizhzhia region 679 times in 24 hours: two dead, 11 wounded

A 66-year-old woman was killed in Huliaipole, and a 7-year-old boy was killed in Zaporizhzhia as a result of enemy attacks. Another 11 people were wounded in the regional center.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

“In total, over the past day, the occupiers carried out 679 strikes on 14 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region,” the post says.

It is noted that the enemy carried out four missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. Russian troops carried out 11 air strikes on Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Zaliznychne, Uspenivka, Malynivka, and Poltavka.

459 UAVs of various modifications (mainly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

Two MLRS strikes hit Poltavka. In addition, 203 artillery strikes were delivered on the territories of Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

There were 68 reports of damage to high-rise buildings, private houses, cars, and social infrastructure facilities.

As reported by Ukrinform, rescuers in Zaporizhzhia came under repeated shelling while clearing up the consequences of a previous Russian strike.
