Air Defense Forces neutralize 87 out of 112 Russian drones
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, the Russians attacked with 112 Shahed and Gerbera combat UAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. More than 70 of them were Shahed drones.
Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the air attack.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, air defense forces shot down/neutralized 87 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Twenty-two combat UAVs were recorded hitting 12 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the air.
As reported by Ukrinform, five people were injured in the Odesa region as a result of the Russian drone attack. Large-scale fires broke out. Two residential buildings, an administrative building, and a gas station were on fire. A large-scale fire also broke out on the territory of a port infrastructure facility, burning containers with vegetable oil, vehicles, and wood fuel pellets.
