Russian drone strike hits civilian infrastructure in Poltava region

Russian forces attacked Poltava region with drones overnight, causing fires in several locations.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported the consequences of the night attack on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“As a result of strikes on civilian infrastructure, fires broke out in administrative buildings; a residential house and an outbuilding were damaged,” the statement said.It was noted that 16 units of equipment, 64 SES rescuers, and a Ukrzaliznytsia firefighting train were involved in the emergency response efforts.

As Ukrinform previously reported, explosions were also heard in Kharkiv, and fires broke out in several parts of the city.
