Sumy RMA shows moment of strike on perinatal center, one civilian injured

The Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA) has released a video of the moment of the enemy strike on the perinatal center. A 60-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attack.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“At around 11:30 a.m., a Russian drone struck the perinatal center in Sumy. An hour earlier, an air raid alert had been declared in the Sumy region, so the medical staff acted professionally and took all patients to shelters in advance,” he said.

He added that a 60-year-old employee of the medical facility, who had a stress reaction to the explosion, was provided with assistance on the spot.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Monday, October 6, the Russian army launched a targeted strike on the Sumy Perinatal Center. At the time of the attack, there were 166 people in the facility, including 11 children.
