Police bodycam footage shows immediate rescue efforts after attack on Lviv region

Police officers released video footage from Lviv region showing the immediate aftermath of the combined Russian attack. The video captures patrol officers helping residents escape from destroyed homes.

According to Ukrinform, the Patrol Police of Lviv region published the footage on Facebook.

“A combined enemy strike on Lviv region: there are dead and injured. Debris clearance in the village of Lapaivka continues,” the report says.

The video, filmed on body cameras, shows police officers rescuing people trapped in their damaged houses, escorting the injured to ambulances, and supporting them in the first minutes after the strike.

Police are also securing the impact sites and assisting rescue services in their work.

According to the statement, the targets of the Russian attack included a school, kindergarten, church, residential buildings, hospitals, as well as civilian industrial and critical infrastructure facilities.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, by 16:00 there were four confirmed deaths and eight injuries as a result of the Russian attack on Lviv region, according to police data.
