Russian forces launch 516 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 516 strikes across 11 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“Russian troops launched five airstrikes on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Mala Tokmachka. A total of 311 drones of various types—mostly FPV—targeted Tavriiske, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervone, Charivne, Bilohiria, and Novoandriivka. Six MLRS strikes were recorded in Plavni, Mala Tokmachka, Chervone, and Novoandriivka. Additionally, 194 artillery attacks hit Plavni, Huliaipole, Chervone, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Charivne, and Bilohiria,” he wrote.

Authorities received 28 reports of damage to residential buildings, apartments, and infrastructure facilities.

No civilian casualties were reported.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia has upgraded its guided aerial bombs and increased the frequency of their use, allowing some of them to reach Zaporizhzhia.
