Man killed in Kherson due to Russian drone strike

A Russian drone killed a 66-year-old man in Kherson.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

“At around 9 a.m., Russian invaders attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a UAV. A 66-year-old man was hit by the enemy strike. He suffered fatal injuries,” the report said.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of August 28, 100 civilians, including one child, have been killed in the Kherson region since the beginning of 2025 as a result of Russian drone attacks. Another 965 people, including 16 children, were injured.
