Ukrainian forces strike Russian command post in Donetsk region, six invaders killed

Ukrainian forces have struck a command post of the 85th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The strike was carried out with a high-precision weapon. According to preliminary data, the brigade commander with the call sign "Dnepr" was killed, along with five other operational staff members.
Further clarification of the results is ongoing.
In July 2025, Ukrainian forces struck command posts of the 8th Combined Arms Army and the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces.
