Woman killed and eight people wounded in Russian shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman was killed and eight people were wounded in Russian shelling in the last 24 hours.

The National Police of Ukraine reported the news on Telegram on August 9, according to Ukrinform.

“A woman was killed and eight people were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of Russian aggression: police documented the consequences of war crimes. The enemy fired on the region with artillery and KABs, and used UAVs and drones,” the report said.

It is noted that over the past day, the enemy carried out more than a hundred strikes on the Nikopol region. As a result of one of the attacks, a 56-year-old woman died under the rubble of a house. The 62-year-old husband of the deceased was also in the epicenter of the strike; police evacuated him with head injuries and handed him over to medics.

On the same day, in the afternoon, the enemy targeted one of the villages in the Marganets community with an FPV drone, injuring two people.

An hour later, the occupiers shelled the Pokrovsk territorial community, injuring a resident.

In the Synelnykove district, a woman was wounded by an FPV drone strike.

The police reminded that on the morning of August 9, Russian troops launched missile strikes on the city of Dnipro, injuring three people.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes) in response to the shelling.

As reported, the Dnipropetrovsk region is under attack by Russian troops, with the Russian army terrorizing civilians, destroying houses, businesses, energy, gas, and other infrastructure facilities on an almost daily basis.
