Russians strike critical infrastructure in Sumy region, power outages reported

The Russian military launched a strike at a critical infrastructure facility in Sumy district, leaving part of the area without electricity.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.

“Russian forces struck a critical infrastructure facility in Sumy district. As a result of the attack, part of the district was cut off power,” the statement reads.

Hryhorov noted that repair and restoration work is currently underway.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian troops used a strike drone to attack a civilian infrastructure site on the outskirts of Sumy community, injuring two people.
