Russian drones attack Odesa, killing one person
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
"As a result of yet another strike on Odesa, one person died," the statement reads.
According to the SES, ten garage units, an administrative building on the grounds of a car service station, and several construction trailers were damaged.
In addition, passenger cars, trucks, and a bus were destroyed. Fires broke out, which were extinguished by rescue workers.
Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, added that during the night, Russians attacked Odesa with strike drones. Despite active air defense efforts, there was damage and destruction to civilian infrastructure in the city, including a car service station and private vehicles.
A guard post near a new building construction site caught fire. The security guard was killed.
Earlier reports indicate that overnight on July 7, explosions were heard in Odesa during an air raid alert as Russians attacked the city with strike UAVs.
