No Russian warships in Ukrainian seas, Navy reports

As of 6:00 on June 19, 2025, there are no Russian warships present in either the Black Sea or the Sea of Azov.

That is according to an update from the Ukrainian Navy shared on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“There are no enemy warships in the Black Sea; no enemy warships in the Sea of Azov,” the Navy stated in its operational report.

However, in the Mediterranean Sea, three Russian naval vessels remain active, one of which is a cruise missile carrier armed with up to eight Kalibr missiles.

In addition, according to the Ukrainian Navy, over the past 24 hours, the following vessel movements through the Kerch Strait were recorded in Russia’s interests: into the Black Sea: 15 ships (11 continued toward the Bosphorus), into the Sea of Azov: six ships (two arrived from the Bosphorus).

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the United States has deployed a third aircraft carrier closer to Israel due to rising tensions in the region.
