Russians drop four guided aerial bombs on Esman community in Sumy region, woman is killed

A 74-year-old woman died in Sumy region as a result of a Russian air strike.

This was reported in Telegram by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.

According to the investigation, on May 28, at about 15:20, the occupiers dropped, according to preliminary data, 4 guided aerial bombs on the civilian infrastructure of the Esman community of Shostka district. “As a result, a 74-year-old woman died in her own home,” the report says.

It is noted that prosecutors are currently documenting the consequences of the shelling in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.

Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As Ukrinform reported earlier, nine people were wounded in the shelling in Sumy region over the past day. Russian troops fired almost 70 times at 34 settlements in 13 territorial communities.
