
Ukraine’s air defenses down 43 out of 60 Russian drones
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Beginning at 123:50 on Monday, May 26, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 60 strike UAVs (Shahed-type drones) and various decoy drones from the directions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) and drone units, and mobile fire teams of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 on Tuesday, May 27, air defense units destroyed 43 enemy UAVs, including Shahed drones and others, over eastern, northern, and southern Ukraine.
Of these 35 were destroyed by firepower, eight were suppressed or lost via electronic warfare.
Airstrike impacts were confirmed in nine locations, and debris from downed drones was found in three locations.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, in Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were injured during the Russian overnight drone attack on May 27.
