Russia loses 1,000 troops and two air defense systems in past 24 hours

The total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to May 26, 2025, amount to about 981,850 people, including 1,000 people over the past day.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Also, the Russian army lost 10,858 (+4) tanks, 22,641 (+8) armored combat vehicles, 28,320 (+51) artillery systems, 1,397 (+1) MLRS, 1,171 (+2) air defense systems, 372 (+0) aircraft, and 336 (+0) helicopters, Operational and tactical UAVs - 37,631 (+264), cruise missiles - 3,256 (+53), ships/boats - 28 (+0), submarines - 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers - 49,843 (+92), special equipment - 3,902 (+0).

As Ukrinform reported, 135 combat engagements took place at the front on May 25, with Russians conducting 40 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, losing almost 160 occupants.
