
Death toll in Russian attack on Dnipro rises to three, 30 injured
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“The Russians took the lives of three people, including one child. According to preliminary data, 28 people were injured, including four children,” the statement says.
Several fires broke out in the city due to the drone strike. All of them have since been extinguished.
A total of 173 rescue workers and 37 units of SES equipment were involved to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
Later, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported that the number of injured has increased to 30.
“The massive drone attack has led to tragic consequences. In Dnipro, three people were killed, including a child. Thirty people were injured, five of them are children. Sixteen patients remain under medical supervision in hospitals — one is in serious condition,” he stated.
According to Lysak, around ten apartment buildings and the same number of private homes were damaged in the city, as well as a university building, a dormitory, a high school building, a food production facility, a post office, a printing house, an administrative building, several shops, and nearly 15 vehicles.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the enemy attacked Dnipro with drones, which led to multiple fires.
