
Since last evening, AFU have shot down 26 Russian drones; 19 vanish from radar
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that since 19:30 on Monday, April 14, the Russians have fired 53 air attack weapons at Ukraine:
- one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile from the Kursk region;
- 52 Shahed drones and various types of imitator drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 26 Shahed-type attack UAVs (and other types of drones) were confirmed downed in the east, north, and center of the country.
Another 19 enemy imitation drones were found to have failed to reach their targets.
Sumy and Donetsk regions were affected by the attack.
As reported by Ukrinform, at about 21:00 on Monday, April 14, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles at the Sumy city community.
