Russian drone attack: Infrastructure facility on fire in Zaporizhzhia region

A fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in the Zaporizhzhia region following a Russian drone strike.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform states.

"A fire broke out at an infrastructure facility and summer houses. These are the preliminary consequences of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district," he said.

According to the official, there have been no reports of casualties so far.

Earlier, explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia region during an air raid alert.

Ukraine's Air Force had warned of Russian kamikaze drones heading towards the Zaporizhzhia region.
