Ukrainian producer Yurii Kirpik killed in action

Yurii Kirpik, a producer for projects of Starlight Media, including the popular show Weighed and Happy and the TV series House of Happiness, was killed in action on the front lines.
According to Ukrinform, the news was shared on Facebook by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, citing a colleague of the late Kirpik, Oleksandr Bykov.
"Our Starlight Media family has suffered a great loss… Yurii Kirpik has passed away. It is hard to believe and find the right words to support his family and friends. For some of us, he was a colleague, for others a true friend, a person who always supported, joked, and brought light even in the toughest times," Bykov wrote.
As reported earlier by Ukrinform, Taras Shevchenko, a 25-year-old sculptor from Odesa region and an employee of the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park, also perished in the war.
