Russian troops trying to expand offensive in Pryvilne area
This was reported on Telegram by the Khortystia grouping of troops, Ukrinform reports.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian assault groups attacked in the area of Kostiantynopil. Russian troops are not goving up offensive efforts toward Pryvilne. The enemy is trying to make use of their manpower superiority and develop their offensive. Heavy fighting continues.
In the Kupiansk axis, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian fortifications near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Zahryzove. All enemy assaults have been held back.
In addition, the Russian troops tried to establish crossings on the Oskil River, seeing no success to this end. Ukraine’s firepower and weather conditions undermined enemy plans. Due to the warmer temperatures, the ice layer is now too thin, forcing the Russians to lay platforms to distribute the load.
In the Kharkiv axis, the enemy tried to advance in the Vovchansk area, where they saw a decent rebuff, being forced to retreat.
In the Lyman axis, Russian assault groups unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian fortifications in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, Yampolivka, and Torske. The enemy also tried to no avail to improve their tactical position in the Serebryansk Forestry area.
In the Kramatorsk axis, Russian troops pursued the offensive missions in the area of Stupochky, where their attack was repelled.
The invaders tried to storm Chasiv Yar, but minefields contributed to hindering the attempt.
In the Toretsk axis, the enemy attacked Ukraine’s fortifications and tried to improve their position in the Toretsk and Druzhba areas. The defense forces continue to hold back the onslaught, inflicting heavy losses on the overwhelming enemy force.
In the Pokrovsk axis, the Russian army conducted offensive operations in the areas of Promin and Horikhove. The enemy made efforts to dislodge Ukraine’s forces from their positions in Lysivka and Kotlyne.
In the Andriivka axis, the Russians used civil vehicles and motorcycles to deliver personnel to the line of contact. As a result of the fire damage, the vehicles were destroyed, while motorcycles were forced to retreat.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the spokesman for the Khortytsia grouping, Viktor Trehubov, stated that Russian troops continue their attempts to advance in the Pokrovsk axis, where the enemy’s main efforts are focused. However, exhaustion is becoming obvious in the enemy ranks.
