Russians strike Sloviansk in Donetsk region injuring six civilians

The Russian invaders launched an attack on the residential sector of the town of Sloviansk in Donetsk region injuring at least six civilians.

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

As a result of the shelling, a 65-year-old man and five women aged between 54 and 83 were injured. They sustained shrapnel wounds and suffered acute stress reactions.

The attack caused damage to 59 private homes and an educational institution.

Investigators, bomb disposal experts, paramedics, patrol officers, and rescue workers are currently operating at the scene.

As Ukrinform previously reported, early on February 21, the Russian forces dropped three aerial bombs on the town of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, one person was killed, and two others were injured.
