Russia’s attacks on Kherson region leave two killed, two injured

On February 20, the Russian forces shelled 32 settlements in Kherson region, killing two people and injuring two others.

That is according to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

The attacks hit Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Novodmytrivka, Mylove, Havrylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Urozhayne, Tiahynka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Veletenske, Stanislav, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Ivanivka, Vesele, Dniprovske, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Komyshany, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Respublikanets, Sablukivka, Tokarivka, Tomyna Balka, and Chervonyi Mayak.

Damage to civilian infrastructure reported including an apartment building, 15 private homes, a gas distribution facility, a minibus, and a private car.

Due to Russian aggression, two civilians were killed and two others injured, the regional chief stressed.

He also added that Ukrainian air defense destroyed one Russian Shahed-131/136 drone in Kherson region overnight.

As previously reported, rescue operations concluded in Kherson, where the Russian forces targeted a high-rise building, leaving two dead and five injured.
