War update: 89 clashes on frontline, third of them in Pokrovsk sector

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in its 22:00 war update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Russian forces launched three missile strikes and 65 airstrikes, using four missiles and 65 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the enemy deployed 1,105 kamikaze drones and conducted over 4,000 shelling attacks targeting Ukrainian positions and settlements.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched five assaults near Lozova, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove. All of them were repelled.

In the Lyman sector, 18 Russian attacks were recorded near Zelene Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Novyi, Zelena Dolyna, Novoliubivka, Katerynivka, Yampolivka, Terny, and Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces attempted two offensives near Bilohorivka and dropped two aerial bombs on Siversk and Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two battles were recorded near Chasiv Yar, while Russian forces targeted Bondarne with guided aerial bombs.

In the Toretsk sector, 13 Russian attacks were recorded near Dyliivka and Toretsk, with four ongoing battles in the area.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 28 enemy assaults targeted multiple settlements, including Zelene Pole, Novotoretske, Pokrovsk, and Udachne. Three clashes remain ongoing. The town of Novooleksandrivka suffered two airstrikes. Russian forces lost 148 soldiers in this sector today, including 81 killed in action. One enemy tank, eight vehicles, one UAV control antenna, and one artillery system were destroyed.

In the Novopavlivka sector, seven Russian attacks near Lysivka, Kostiantynopil, and Rozdolne were unsuccessful. The enemy also launched unguided missiles at Novosilka and dropped two glide bombs near Odradne.

In the Kursk sector, five clashes were recorded since the beginning of the day.
