In Kyiv, Russian drone attack damages Shevchenko University buildings

On February 4, one of the dormitories and a building of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv were damaged in the capital as a result of a Russian drone attack. 

According to Ukrinform, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Larysa Sokhatyuk reported this on Facebook.

“Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has once again suffered damage as a result of armed aggression. One of the dormitories and the building of our institution were damaged. The blast wave damaged the windows in the dormitory, and the suspended ceiling in one of the classrooms collapsed in the building,” noted Sokhatyuk.

According to her, thanks to the coordinated work of the administrative and economic department, the damaged windows were promptly closed.

As reported by Ukrinform, on February 4, as a result of a Russian drone attack in Kyiv, debris was seen falling on the roof of a high-rise building in the Pechersk district. Windows in several educational institutions, an outpatient clinic, and outbuildings were also damaged.
