Educational institution damaged as Russians attack Kharkiv region with drones, glide bombs
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
On the evening of February 2, the roof of a municipal educational institution in Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, was damaged by a hit from a Russian Shahed drone.
Three guided aerial bombs hit the territory outside the villages of Baranivka, Orishanka, and Karasivka in the Bohodukhiv district.
In Borova village in the Izium district, guided aerial bombs damaged five apartment blocks.
According to Syniehubov, four men aged 35, 36, 40, and 51 sustained injuries on the bank of the Siverskyi Donets River in Izium due to an explosive device. The injured individuals were transported to a medical facility for treatment.
In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks near Hatyshche.
The regional governor also reported that Russians attacked fortifications 18 times in the Kupiansk sector, in the areas of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove and Lozova. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 2, a woman and a man were injured in Liubotyn, Kharkiv region, as a result of a Russian drone attack.
