Death toll from Russian strike on Poltava rises to nine

Another victim has been confirmed following the shelling of a residential building in Poltava, bringing the total number of casualties to nine.

The Poltava Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

"Unfortunately, another person has died as a result of the strike on the residential building," the statement reads.

At 21:30, the confirmed death toll stands at nine, including one child.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that eight people were killed in the Russian attack on a residential building in Poltava.
