General Staff: Enemy attempting to break through to Chasiv Yar, situation hottest in Pokrovsk, Toretsk sectors

This is said in a situation update by the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile attack using one rocket, 51 air strikes using 74 guided missiles and fired over 3,000 times, including 127 times using multiple launch rocket systems.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian forces struck three invaders' command posts, one air defense system, two ammunition depots and 15 enemy personnel concentration areas.

The invaders carried out five air strikes using 11 guided aerial bombs and shelled the Ukrainian positions 614 times. The enemy also used 38 kamikaze drones

The battle for Vovchansk continues in the Kharkiv sector. The situation is under control.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army lost 150 troops in the past day. Three enemy artillery systems, one air defense vehicle and six vehicles were destroyed. One tank, one artillery system, two air defense systems and two vehicles were damaged.

In the Kupiansk sector, four combat clashes in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka have been recorded since the start of the say.  Two Russian assaults are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kopanky and Nevske.

Four enemy attacks took place in the Siversk sector. Three of them were unsuccessful in the areas of Spirne and Rozdolivka, and one combat clash is ongoing in the Rozdolivka area.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders are attempting to break through in the Chasiv Yar area. Two assault operations are ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector, the situation is tense. The aggressor is active in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne and Zalizne. The Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack on Druzhba.

The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains tense. The enemy has already conducted 13 offensives today, nine of which were successfully repelled. Fighting continues.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy lost 245 troops and two artillery systems over the past day. One enemy tank was damaged.

In the Kurakhove sector, in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka, eight combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Vremivka sector, the enemy is attacking near Kostiantynivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders stormed the Mala Tokmachka area without success.

In other sectors of the front, the invaders did not conduct active operations.
