Ukrainian forces thwart enemy plans to occupy Borova in Kharkiv region – intelligence spokesperson
Ukraine's military intelligence spokesperson, Andrii Yusov, said this on Ukrainian television.
"If we talk about Borova and the [Kharkiv] sector, Ukrainian defenders broke the enemy's intentions there, and their losses in manpower and equipment are significant. Yes, they are trying to pull up reserves, and the potential threat remains, but at the moment we are not talking about the formation of new powerful groups to repeat the situation," he said.
"The plans and intentions of the enemy were broken. He is forced to move reserves, including from other sectors that are very sensitive for them. This is a sign of heavy losses and the fact that the situation for them is definitely not going according to plan. However, the situation on the northern border remains just as tense and dangerous. The enemy will continue to try to stretch Ukrainian reserves and distract them from the situation in the east," Yusov added.
