General Staff: 129 combat clashes on front lines in past day

Andrii Kovaliov, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on Ukrainian television, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Russian terrorists carried out one missile strike using one missile, 39 air strikes using 54 guided aerial bombs, and more than 4,000 shelling attacks, including 102 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launchers, in Ukraine. Russian terrorists once again attacked Ukraine overnight, using 21 Shahed 136/131 UAVs," he said.

Kovaliov also added that Russian troops were continuing their offensive in the Kharkiv sector. In total, seven combat clashes were recorded there. According to him, fighting took place near Lyptsi and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 19 enemy attacks outside Berestove, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Pishchane, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 14 enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, as well as Hrakivka, Makiivka, and Serebrianske Forestry in the Luhansk region.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 14 attacks near Rozdolivka, Vyimka, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 21 enemy attacks outside Nove, Hryhorivka, and Ivanivskr, Donetsk region.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 39 attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Kalynove, Novopokrovske, and Oleksandropil, Donetsk region.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces continued to hold off the enemy near Krasnohorivka, where the enemy made seven attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian forces carried out three unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Novodarivka and Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv sector, three combat clashes occurred near Tokmachka area, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces attempted to knock out Ukrainian units from bridgeheads on the east bank of the Dnipro. In the past day, they launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions in this sector.
