Defense Forces: There were 83 combat engagements in eastern direction over past day

The press service of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the past day in the eastern operational zone, the enemy fired 3,805 times at the positions of our troops,” the statement said.

According to the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, the enemy launched 55 airstrikes using 75 KABs and 361 strikes with kamikaze drones. Ukrainian artillery units also carried out over 2,928 firing missions as a result of combat operations.

“During the current day, 34 combat engagements have already taken place in the eastern operational zone,” the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops reported.

It is noted that 567 attacks, 11 airstrikes with the use of 19 KABs, and 26 strikes by kamikaze drones have already been recorded in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops. As a result of combat operations, Ukrainian artillery units have completed more than 411 fire missions over the past day.

As Ukrinform reported, most of the territory of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
