Ukrainian sappers neutralize 1,615 explosives in past week

The State Special Transport Service said this in a post on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, 1,075 explosive devices were neutralized in the Kharkiv region, 363 - in the Kherson region, 158 - in the Mykolaiv region, and 19 in the Donetsk region.

The area of 2,272.81 ha was demined (inspected), including 2,201.20 ha in the Kherson region, 24.19 ha in the Mykolaiv region, 37.42 ha in the Kharkiv region, and 10 ha in the Donetsk region.

In total, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, units of the State Special Transport Service have found and neutralized 97,007 explosive devices.

The area of 51,381.20 hectares has been demined (inspected).

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the State Special Transport Service found, removed and disposed 6,171 explosive objects in December 2023.
