U.S. envoy comments on Russia’s deadly strike on Nova Poshta terminal

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink issued a statement on the latest Russian strike targeting a postal terminal near Kharkiv, noting that Russia’s obvious “disregard for life.”

The diplomat reported this via X (formerly Twitter), Ukrinform saw.

“Again overnight horrific images of Russian violence against civilians in Ukraine – a missile attack on a postal office in Kharkiv killed 6 people and seriously injured more. The Kremlin’s disregard for life is for all the world to see,” Brink wrote.

She added that the United States stands with Ukraine to hold the Russian Federation accountable for its crimes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, two Russian S-300 missiles hit a Nova Poshta postal terminal just outside Kharkiv, practically obliterating the facility, damaging seven trucks, and two trailers.

The strike killed six Nova Poshta employees and injured another 16, according to the latest reports.
