Enemy missile fragments cause damage to 10 detached houses in Kyiv region, two injured

On the night of August 27, 2023, the fragments of Russian missiles damaged 10 detached houses in the Kyiv region.

The relevant statement was made by Kyiv Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Kyiv Regional Military Administration Head Ruslan Kravchenko, the air raid alert had lasted for about three hours. The air defense systems activated in the region. No critical or housing infrastructure objects were hit.

Meanwhile, the fragments of the downed Russian missiles landed in one of the Kyiv region’s districts. Ten detached houses were damaged. One of them was seriously affected, while the rest of houses suffered some minor damage like the doors, windows and roofs blown out or the facades slashed.

Kravchenko mentioned that two cars had been damaged, as well as an agricultural machinery hangar.

Two civilians were reported injured. They received medical aid at the scene.

A reminder that, on the night of August 27, 2023, Ukraine’s Air Force intercepted four Russian cruise missiles over central and northern regions.
