Ukraine's president reveals contents of new military aid package from Sweden

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at the press conference following his meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Now we are preparing the transfer of the new, 13th military aid package from Sweden that was announced by the Prime Minister. I want to thank you, Ulf, Mr. Prime Minister, for your leadership, for your support. And this package includes what is important -- ammunition, both for air defenses, for combat vehicles, spare parts for armored vehicles, mine clearance equipment. Everything that will make Ukraine stronger on the battlefield. Demining is important as it will save the lives of our people," Zelensky said.

He also emphasized the importance of Sweden, together with Ukraine's other international partners, participating in global efforts to restore the full effect of international law, which Russia is trying to destroy.

"Sweden has joined the implementation of the Peace Formula, particularly such points as restoration of radiation safety, restoration of justice, restoration of environmental safety. I emphasize once again that humanitarian demining is an important issue. And together we are approaching the global peace summit, a format in which the world majority can show their leadership in returning a just and lasting peace," Zelensky said.
