Enemy strikes village near Kherson, killing civilian

A person was killed in the Russian shelling of a village near Kherson this evening.
"According to the investigation data, around 20:00 on August 18, the occupiers shelled a village near Kherson city. A local resident received fatal injuries," the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram.
As a result of the shelling, private houses were damaged.
As the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office specified, a 72-year-old man received fatal injuries. A 93-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman were also injured. They were given the necessary medical assistance on the spot.
A pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).
