
Russia keeps eight warships combat ready off Crimea coast

Russia’s Navy has deployed eight warships on combat duty in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, with no missile carriers spotted among them.
That’s according to the Ukrainian Naval Forces Command, Ukrinform reports.
"As of 11:30 on August 14, there are seven enemy ships on combat duty in the Black Sea; and another one - in the Sea of Azov," the statement reads.
In the Mediterranean, Russia operates eight warships, two of which carry Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of August 14, the Russians launched missile and drone strikes at Odesa region in three waves times. Ukraine’s air defense forces interceptd all 15 stirke drones and eight Kalibr missiles Russia had launched overnight.
