In Poland, Canadian sappers-instructors are training Ukrainian Army servicemen in ways to deal with the mine threat on the battlefield.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"While the war with Russia continues, Ukrainian military and civilians are facing an explosive threat on the battlefield. A detachment of Canadian combat sappers is helping Ukrainian servicemen to learn ways to deal with mine threats on the battlefield as part of the Canadian Armed Forces' UNIFIER training operation," the statement reads.
