Ukraine’s Army gains ground toward Urozhaine, Pryiutne, Verbove

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers continue to run an offensive effort south of the town Bakhmut, getting entrenched on secured positions," the statement reads.

According to the General Staff, Russian troops went for offensive actions in the area of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Staromayorske, all of which were foiled.

The enemy suffers significant losses in terms of manpower and heavy weaponry.

At the same time, Russian troops continue to put up fierce resistance, maneuvering units and actively involving reserves.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, more than 30 combat clashes took place along the front lines in the past day.
